Curved sides, two handles, this pan has a wide and shallow cooking surface designed to saute meats and vegetables prior to adding rice.

The flat surface inside the pan is 14 inches. The pan holds a very large capacity of food. You can make paella easily for 8 -10 people. The pan can be used on top of a stove or grill. Black Steel needs to be seasoned to prevent rusting. Follow the instructions to remove the thin protective coating before first use. This important step SHOULD NOT be skipped.

I was looking a Paella pan and I bought this one because it was given the highest rating by Cooks Illustrated. The pan is super heavy and browned everything beautifully. It is easy follow the directions for seasoning and it worked fantastically well. My paella was amazing.
