Stainless Steel Strainer, Double Mesh, 7.12″

This 7-1/8″ double criss-cross mesh bouillon strainer is a staple in any kitchen. Its solid mesh will retain all food particles. It is made of stainless steel and has a stay-cool, ABS handle.

Paderno double mesh strainer is basically for extra-fine filtering compared with a normal kitchen sieve. The two layers of mesh create smaller openings, so you catch finer particles while still allowing decent flow.

Typical uses:

• Dusting powdered sugar or cocoa: Gives cakes, pastries, tiramisu, etc. a more even finish.
• Straining sauces and purees: Removes tiny lumps from custards, fruit coulis, tomato sauces, soup bases, reductions.
• Filtering stocks and broths: Catches herbs, pepper fragments, tiny vegetable pieces.
• Tea and infusions: Better at catching fine tea particles than a regular sieve.
