The Non-Hydroscopic (won’t absorb liquids) safe-grip, molded polypropylene handles safe up to 100°C / 212°F. Turners are a type of Spatula. They are durable and can be used in the kitchen or as a Barbecue BBQ grill Spatula. The size of the Turner Spatula you need is determined by the item you are cooking and the cooking surface area. A longer turner spatula is best for a griddle or Barbecue BBQ grill while a shorter turner spatula is best for frying pans. The handle and serving knife are both National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved. These HACCP knives are color coded for the following HACCP recognized uses:
- Red Knife = Meat.
- Blue Knife = Fish.
- Green Knife = Produce.
- White Knife = Dairy/Cheese.
- Yellow Knife = Poultry.
The pancake turner spatula is a thin edge to allow the cook to slide the spatula under the soft half-cooked pancake to flip it without it wrinkling or tearing.
