Features and Product Details
The Non-Hydroscopic (won’t absorb liquids) safe-grip, molded polypropylene handles safe up to 100°C / 212°F. Pie server spatulas are designed in the shape of a pie slice. The pie serve spatula can have smooth edges, or serrated to allow for a cleaner cut. The smooth edge is best for soft pies such as pumpkin, egg custard, and sweet potato. The serrated edge is best for pies with a crust such as apple, cherry, or rhubarb tart. The handle and serving knife are both National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved. These HACCP knives are color coded for the following HACCP recognized uses:
- Red Knife = Meat.
- Blue Knife = Fish.
- Green Knife = Produce.
- White Knife = Dairy/Cheese.
- Yellow Knife = Poultry.
