The Non-Hydroscopic (won’t absorb liquids) safe-grip, molded polypropylene handles safe up to 100°C / 212°F. Sandwich spreader spatulas are smooth on all edges or serrated on one side and smooth on the other. It is used to apply food spreads, such as ham salad, peanut butter, jelly, egg salad, butter, dressings, cheese, and many other spreads over sliced bread and bagels. The serrated edge of the sandwich spreader spatula can then be used to cut the sandwich before serving or for making decorative patterns in soft spreads. The handle and serving knife are both National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) approved. These HACCP knives are color coded for the following HACCP recognized uses:
- Red Knife = Meat.
- Blue Knife = Fish.
- Green Knife = Produce.
- White Knife = Dairy/Cheese.
- Yellow Knife = Poultry.
